Megablast Mashed Up 1: 10th January 2024

A new year, and a new sound for Megablast. I’ve been wanting to do an all-mashup show on Noisebox forever, but for various reasons never got round to it until now. I’ve been producing mashups and bootlegs under various names for over twenty years, listening to them for even longer, and wanted to highlight some of those that maybe don’t get the attention they deserve, particularly in these days when it’s not enough just to upload an mp3 to an obscure corner of the internet and hope somebody hears it. The voice you hear on these shows is E.R.A.S.M.U.S. – the Excellent Remix And Super Mash Up System. Yes, it’s an artificial voice, but nobody wants to hear me waffling on and even if they did, I don’t have a decent microphone, so it’s the next best thing. It’s mainly there so you know exactly what you’re listening to and who produced it, but if you missed anything, the tracklist is below.
